Not even one layer: sub-monolayer quantum dots

In collaboration with a team from the University of Sao Paulo, we helped create devices that make use of quantum dots that are made by several layers of small amounts of InAs so close together they act as one. We got a conference proceedings, and a couple of publications from this work. And one of the lead authors won an award for this work!
