Interatomic distances are a joke

In one of the last projects taken by the molecular beam epitaxy team at Boise State University, we worked on integrating gallium antimonide (GaSb) with gallium arsenide (GaAs) despite how big the difference in the distance between their atoms is. Surprisingly, it works! And the way it happens is really cool.
